


Not actual Modifications but alternative materials that I constructed it withġ: Where he used 4mm Electrical copper wire for the Antenna construction itself I used 4mm Diameter brass tube (Obtained from a local, large DIY Outlet), I then soldered the corners together by inserting thick copper wire that fitted perfect into the tube itself.Ģ: For the Ground planes I used 3mm stainless antenna whips, cut to the correct length (I had these of a friend and fellow Ham of mine M3PYG), these whips were not the tapered type, they were the same size throughout.ģ: To mount the Antenna I was lucky enough to have some plastic drainpipe (I think it was about 40mm diameter) This pushed onto the 32mm plastic pipe perfectly. Here’s a list of the Modifications that I did.
